The manufacturer's instructions for the device and cartridge always take precedence over general guidelines. If the product's design or filling method is unclear, check the model's manual before use.
First Fill
- Identify the correct filling port. Do not fill through the central airflow tube.
- Fill without exceeding the level that allows proper closure, and close the cap or mouthpiece securely.
- With a new cartridge, allow time for the liquid to soak into the coil before use. Follow the manufacturer's recommended waiting time. If no time is specified, wait a few minutes and check that the cotton is saturated.
Normal Signs That a Cartridge Needs Replacing
- A burnt or abnormal taste that persists after checking the fill.
- A noticeable decrease in flavor or vapor production.
- Persistent leaking that is not resolved after cleaning and correct assembly.
- Physical damage, a crack, or a faulty seal.
Reducing Leaks
- Close the filling port completely and do not exceed the capacity.
- Keep the device as upright as possible, especially after filling.
- Wipe liquid from the contacts and connection before reinserting the cartridge.
- Check that the cartridge is seated straight and that there are no cracks or damaged seals.
- Use liquid and resistance that comply with the manufacturer's instructions.
Cleaning and Charging
Turn off the device if it has a power button. Remove the cartridge and gently wipe the contacts with a dry cloth. Do not wash the device body or charging port. Use a suitable cable and power source, do not charge a damaged device, and stop using it if the battery becomes abnormally hot, swells, or is damaged.
