How to choose a pod system that suits you

Posted by VapePoint on

A good pod system is not necessarily the model with the most settings. The right choice starts with your inhalation style, pod availability, and the level of control you actually want.

1. Inhalation style

MTL is a tighter draw. RDL is a more open draw with increased airflow and vapor production. Some devices are designed mainly for one style, while others allow for a wider range.

2. Simple operation or more complete control

Simple devices can activate automatically when you inhale and offer few settings. Adjustable devices may include a button, a screen, wattage adjustment, and airflow control. More options are not an advantage if you do not intend to use them.

3. Battery and charging

A higher battery capacity can reduce charging frequency, but it usually makes the device larger. Check the battery capacity, charging connection, and manufacturer's instructions, and use suitable charging equipment.

4. Pod availability

Before purchasing the device, check which pods are available for it, which resistances are supported, and what their capacity is. A pod with a similar appearance is not necessarily compatible.

5. What to check on the product page

  • What is included in the kit.
  • Which pod comes with the device.
  • Whether it has automatic activation, a button, or both.
  • The wattage range and airflow, if adjustable.
  • The battery and pod capacity.
